Banquet Servers

We are accepting applications for servers for our upcoming banquet season. 

Job Duties:

  • Take food orders from guests and relay information to banquet captain/kitchen.
  • Serve food in timely manner and within service industry standards and guidelines.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs. Offer help when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean work station.
  • Be able to work closely and effectively with fellow servers and banquet captain

Requirements:

Required:

  • Understanding of service standards and an ability to train staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Knowledge of wine, liquor and food laws and practices.
  • Food Service and/or handling experience

Banquet Captains

Apply today for our upcoming banquet season! We are looking for year round Banquet Captains.

A Banquet Captain is expected to assist in overseeing functions as assigned by Banquet Manager. He/She will supervise and direct Banquet Personnel to maintain high levels of service consistent with management standards.  

Job Duties: 

  • Work closely with second captain on event, communicating timeline and duties
  • Provide consistent floor supervision of all banquet food servers and bartenders.
  • Work closely with catering sales, kitchen, stewards
  • Enforce rules and regulations as stated in the employee handbook.
  • Direct the service of food functions that are assigned by banquet manager with special attention given to the head table or VIP tables.
  • Work with banquet manager to train banquet servers on assigned responsibilities for set-up and service of functions based on instructions set forth in the BEO.
  • Train and motivate banquet servers according to the standards set by the company.
  • Handle all guest complaints concerning banquets, inform management immediately

Requirements:

  • Understand all aspects of Banquet Event Orders.
  • RAMP trained.
  • Have a working knowledge of all banquet equipment.
  • Understanding of service standards and an ability to train staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Knowledge of wine, liquor and food laws and practices
  • Prior Supervisory experience.
