Country Inn Cook-Off

Three local country inn chefs will battle it out head to head in a live cheese and garlic cook-off at our Cheese, Garlic and Summer Mountain Festival.  Each chef will have limited kitchen amenities; a table, cutting board, hotplate, grille and some of their own special tools of the trade. Each Chef will be preparing their dish live in front of the Cheese, Garlic and Summer Mountain guests. This is a great opportunity to learn some useful cooking tips and learn about our local country inns.

 
The Rules Are Simple:
  • Each Chef has 30 minutes to prepare and plate a dish that includes cheese and garlic.
  • Each Dish will be judged by a panel of hospitality veterans
Each dish will be judged according to:
  • Preparation Technique
  • Presentation
  • Overall Taste
  • Creative Use of Ingredients

The Cook-off will be held on Sunday, August 19 from 12-5PM at our Cheese, Garlic and Summer Mountain Festival. Two Chefs will go head to head at 1PM, 2PM and 3PM with awards presented at 4:30PM.
